Songs are introduced with images of the year of the song including news footage and visual icons from the worlds of fashion, pop culture and movies. The event also includes a special tribute to Elvis Presley on the 20th anniversary of his death. Featuring performances from varied artists such as Rod Stewart, Jon Bon Jovi, Seal, KD Lang, Mary J Blige, Toni Braxton, Steve Winwood, Robert Palmer, Chaka Khan.
